Hyoni Woo is an independent fashion designer who uses her work to explore social and psychological issues through the lens of fashion. These stories, based on personal experiences and a deep connection to the lives of people around the world, are told through her collections. In order to make the world a better place, she looks for new and innovative ways to get people to think about it and to engage in debates. Because she believes that fashion is more than just a means of expressing one's affluence; it can also serve as a walking gallery for those who choose to dress in it, making it one of the most approachable forms of self-expression. Womenswear which is primarily inspired by streetwear is her primary focus, with a particular emphasis on unique and one-of-a-kind prints created through traditional and digital art-making processes such as printing on silk-screen, embroidering, and creating patterns that are personal yet distinct through graphic design and illustrations.

The colors and symbolism of the rainbow flag were the inspiration for this ready-to-wear collection. In addition to their design details such as box pleating and shirring, each powerful look also has its hand-made pendants and beads attached to the fabrics creating textures. This intense monochrome and the unique eccentric silhouette supported by the construction details offer interesting visual impressions. It's all about how creatively the design language is translated into clothing without sacrificing the construction details or aesthetics, suggesting fresh new looks.
